]]> Jörg received a nomination for the 39th News & Documentary Emmy’s for his work on the HBO Documentary “Cries From Syria“. The entire “Cries From Syria” music team including composer Martin Tillman, additional composer William V. Malpede and 14-times Oscar nominated songwriter Diane Warren received the nomination in the category “outstanding music and sound”.

“Cries From Syria” is a 2017 HBO documentary and a searing, comprehensive account of the brutal Syrian Civil War. It contains footage based on hundreds of hours video shot by Syrians and interviews with guerrilla fighters, activists, journalists, defected military men and refugees. The documentary is narrated by Helen Mirren.
